Jasmin is eliminated!

I feel sad for Jasmin Tye. She is out of Singapore Idol.

I must admit that I started out rooting for her exit because I just do not find her appealing and I always thought that she cannot sing as well as the other contestants.
Simply put, I just feel that she does not have the qualities that an idol should have.

However, as the competition progresses, I must admit this girl won my heart over. Not only did she display her humble character, she has become more feminine and more importantly, I was very impressed by the progress she has made in her vocal deliveries. It was then I started thinking that this girl might be special after all.

I guess it took me some time to get used to Jasmin's way of conducting herself but well, I guess in the end, all it matters is that she has won a fan in me, and to do so by turning me from wanting her out of the competition, to feeling sad to see her leave at this stage, she deserves an applause.

Jasmin Tye, you may be out but you are the Singapore Idol in my heart!
